Set of 6 nuts for rear sprocket.
Reducing unsprung mass at the wheel is a very effective way to improve the handling and performance of a race bike.
These Titanium 6AL-4V (grade 5) sprocket nuts are highly corrosion resistant and extremely light weight (50% lighter than large OEM steel nuts). This is a set of 6 nuts for the rear sprocket of the Yamaha R3. These are a must have for any racer or anyone who wants to replace rusty original nuts with higher quality, lightweight titanium nuts.

Just Cool
Exactly as described: these are ridiculously light. They also look nicer than the stock hardware, if that’s important to you. Both Max and Brian took the time to explain the benefit of these, and even addressed my questions about possible galvanic corrosion, making a recommendation for grease, torque, values, etc. Look, I don’t need titanium sprocket nuts. I don’t track my N400 yet, and I won’t feel the benefit of the weight reduction. That said, these look cool, they’re functional, they’re a nice conversation piece, and they look rad with my black sprocket and gold chain. If you do track your bike, you get all of that (depending on your sprocket choice), plus less weight that you’ll probably notice because you’ve likely reduced weight elsewhere. If you want them and can afford the little splurge for them, go for it.
