Pops Yoshimura!
When I was in my early teens, I’d make a yearly pilgrimage with my older brothers to Brainerd International Raceway (known simply as “BIR” among us Minnesotans) for the AMA race series weekend. Back then in the mid 1980s the big name racers there were Wes Cooley (Kawasaki in F1 and Superbike), Mike Baldwin (Honda F1), Fred Merkel (VF4 Superbike), Wayne Rainey (Kawasaki in F2), Jimmy Filice (Honda VF4 in Superbike), etc etc.... I remember noticing how many of them had the same exhaust — Yoshimura. Pops Yoshimura was a pioneer in the field of tuning and exhaust. I always dreamt of having a kickin sport bike with a Pops Yoshimura pipe. I’ve now had Yoshimura full systems on a Yamaha R3, a Yamaha FZ10, and now my latest bike — a Kawasaki Z125 Pro. No other exhaust systems look, sound, or perform as good as Yoshimuras. My system was delivered promptly and carefully by STG. I give five stars to STG and the exhaust system. Thank you STG!
