Shell Design

Signature rib lines define the RF-1500. Multi-faceted geometry strengthens the chin bar, while distinctive rib lines flow toward the rear spoiler for a cohesive, aerodynamic shell design. A compact shell shaped with purpose. Eliminating the lower shell cut lines maintains a compact profile while increasing chin bar strength.

Seven helmet sizes (XS–3XL) across six shells. Exceptional size-specific engineering that sets SHOEI apart for optimized fit and helmet proportions.

Advanced Shell Construction

Lightweight AIM+ Multi-Fiber Shell. Multi-density EPS liner with multi-part construction and different impact-absorbing densities. Refined shell construction with increased shell thickness and updated EPS construction in key areas to meet SHOEI’s internal safety standards.

AIM+ Layers: Fiberglass, high-strength organic fibers, composite-reinforced 3D organic fibers, high-performance reinforced organic fibers, high-strength organic fibers, fiberglass.

Optimized Ventilation System

Engineered intake and exhaust for efficient airflow. Four centralized upper vents. Integrated SHOEI logo upper vent. Large vent shutter for easy operation with gloves. Wind-tunnel developed top air exhaust for efficient exhaust airflow.

Aerodynamic Performance

CWR-F2 Shield System

Enlarged center shield lock, fine-tune shield base & vortex generators. 99% UV protection. Pinlock® EVO anti-fog lens included. The shield base includes a slightly open position for added ventilation at low speeds and a fine-tune adjustment function to optimize shield fit and sealing.

3D Max-Dry Interior System II

Moisture-wicking comfort with customizable fit options. Interior liner can be further customized with SHOEI’s Personal Fitting System. Contoured cheek pads help create a secure fit and reduce wind intrusion.

Communication System Compatible

Designed with integrated COMLINK speaker pockets and routing for easy installation of most popular Bluetooth & mesh communication systems. Communication system sold separately.

Safety and Certification

Emergency Quick Release Cheek Pad System (E.Q.R.S.) helps emergency personnel remove the helmet more easily by allowing the cheek pads to be quickly released.
