1. reverse velcro, the why of it
For some reason I never found an explanation of why RST chose to do the reverse velcro application on their V4 suit. I kind of felt it was a solution in search of a problem, but I learned the reason from another racer this weekend: Since the fuzzy side of velcro is the part that looses it's grip with repeated use, it makes sense to put the longer-lasting hook side on the suit and the fuzzy stuff on the disposable pucks. That does make sense.
