1. Makes chain adjustments and wheel changes easier
They did exactly what I thought they would do, make wheel changes and chain adjustments easier. Once installed, you can loosen the axle and then turn the adjuster nut by hand and literally see the chain sag more or less as you do it. You can feel and hear an obvious click as you move the adjuster making it easy to turn both sides the same amount. You can tighten the axle without having to hold it forward at the same time, and that makes both chain adjustments and wheel swaps easier. I set the axle equal on both sides per the marks on the adjusters, and then checked the chain alignment and it was good. It can be a bit tedious to install the allen nut that holds the front of the adjuster block to the swingarm, because you can't fit anything in there other than a basic L-shaped allen key, and you can only turn it 1/6 of a turn at a time, but that is a one time install process.
