I own a 2018 Suzuki SV650 ABS. If you have a 2017 or 2018 SV650, please PAY ATTENTION. I had no issue with the clutch side grip. Easy peasy! The throttle side is a different animal. The stock throttle tube has ridges and a lip/ridge on the end. Due to this lip/ridge, you will not be able to get the metal collar from the D-Axis grips over the stock lip/ridge. You will need to trim the stock throttle tube lip/ridge all the way down to circumference of the throttle tube. Due to the ridges on the throttle tube, it takes some effort to get the new grip on. My thanks to Tony from STG that worked with me and Driven to facilitate a solution. I've given this 3 stars because it is not easy and it requires some elbow grease. Lastly, getting the stock grips off on the throttle side is not easy because of the ridges on the tube and the lips/ridges on both sides. It was easier to cut the grip off. Hope this helps!
