The Vortex Racing Rear Stand delivers a ton of quality and performance at an affordable price. It uses quad bearing wheels for super stable, easy lifting. Fully adjustable to work with most any motorcycle that has spools installed on the swingarm. Additionally there is a converter kit available separately for non-spooled motorcycles. Buy with confidence, this is an excellent entry to mid-level stand.
The Motorcycle Stand in this listing is a good entry to mid-level stand in our opinion. If we did not feel it was a quality product, you wouldn't find it on the site. When you visit our site it doesn't take long to discover we do things a little different here at STG. We want you to be happy with all the stuff you purchase from us, and we put a lot of effort into our product reviews to help you choose the best item for your needs. Motorcycle stands are one of those items where there is a significant difference between mid-level and high-end. If you have high-end expectations then we suggest purchasing one of the models we promote in our Motorcycle Stand Buyers Guide.

M/C stand
While it is not as quality as stands that are 2~3x the price ( that is always the case) it is plenty good enough for occasional home use. I would have to use it in a pit/race day setting to see how it would hold up... but for home use a few times a year, it certainly seems to fit the job just fine. It is easy to get the 503# m/c on and off. I used blue loc-tite on the bolts that hold the sliding lift fingers. I do not need to change the width. So that should be good. I can see where the higher priced units would work better and would be made better, but since I have not used one of those, that is all I can say.

Vortex Rear Stand (Spooled) for Suzuki Hayabusa
After purchasing Cyclegear's Trackside rear stand and the subsequent fall of my bike, I watched Brian's video on stands and decided to try out the Vortex stand. This is a solid stand but I was quickly reminded of just how heavy the Hayabusa is. I wasn't able to lift the bike alone with the Vortex stand until a removed my rear seat cowl and added the grab bar. Until that point, I thought i'd made a poor purchase. Nevertheless, this is a solid stand but I wouldn't recommend it for a heavy bike because it doesn't provide as much lifting leverage.

Easy Setup
The box arrived fast and it contained three parts. It was easy to put together and supports my FZ-09 easily.

Very resistant
A great stand, it will never break

Okay
The nuts and bolts to secure the adjustable sliders (?) are crap. I cross thread one of them on the front stand even thou I had put them on by hand first. They aren't straight either. The rear stand isn't level. The plastic parts that clips on the stand (between the ground and the stand) broke off after the first use. All four snapped apart. Asides from those points, they aren't that bad but I don't think I would buy again or recommend them.

Not worth the price
These stands are not sturdy and the craftsmanship is not that great for the price. I recommend just getting PitBul stands the first time around. Save yourself the headache.

It's a stand
Does what it's made for at a good price. It is sturdy and supports the bike as to be expected. You want a good stand grab this one because for about 100 bucks you can get this stand and spools. Great for maintenance and track days - it's not a circus bear it doesn't do tricks it's a stand and it does it's job no reason to pay 150 bucks on a stand - unless it does tricks.

Sturdy and strong
I love pit bull stands except for the price so this was a great substitute. It is a strong well built stand. Currently building an SV race bike so it is holding the rear up great!
