Rear stand
I got this bc It had good reviews and an affordable price tag so i figured this would be a good stand to do chain maintenance on my bikes. It assembled easy and gave me plenty of room to work on my R3. Unfortunately, I got one solid use out of this because after setting it up for my R7, it failed. Theres no worse feeling than lifting the stand and watching your bike take it's first fall after the fork bends. The swingarm has some minor scratches and the sliders stopped the bike from taking any real damage but i regret buying this. I'm just glad I didn't use this on a more expensive bike.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. The height adjustment is a gimmick which makes putting it together that much more difficult. Bought it because it promised more leverage but it actually made it 3x more difficult to lift than with my Venom stands. Look at the length of the handle, no leverage. Now I gotta sell this thing on Marketplace. It's junk.

Vortex Rear MC Stand
Only reason for a 4 rating is it’s very early. Just built and put bike up on it. Put together easy as can be. Very well constructed seems very strong. When putting my XSR900 up on it took a little grunt and sits quite high. I’m feeling like this is going to be a strong, safe well made stand that will last. Fingers crossed

Vortex Rear Stand, not Durable
These stands use a bolt that acts like a set screw to position the spool adapters. A nut is welded to the frame to provide threads for that bolt. Unfortunately, the bolt's weld broke the first time I set it up. STG was helpful getting Vortex to replace the part. Unfortunately, the same thing happened to me again seven months later. The spool adapters can either be loose or the nut welds are broken. There is not in between.

Good Value - order swingarm adapter with it.
This stand is a good value and feels pretty solid. Assembly is easy. For a complete solution for use on most any double-sided swingarm motorcycle, I recommend ordering the pad adapter set #ST981 for $15, well worth it.
