Designed for comfort and safety, the TracTech Evo III has been developed with countless hours on the road and track! With the proven fit of its predecessor and huge upgrade in spec, the TracTech Evo III massively over delivers in all areas. The new hard wearing sole is bonded to the 360 heel cockpit, this in-turn is attached to the rear ankle support structure preventing over flexion and extension of the ankle. The redesigned shin plate offers increased protection from impacts, as does the enlarged toe-box. The attention to detail even stretches to different sized shift pads dependant on the boot size. For a boot that offers supreme protection and day long comfort look no further than the TracTech Evo III.

    outstanding value

After searching for boots that fit my needs and budget and coming up short, I happened to stumble upon STG and these boots. I need a boot with a reasonable toe box and saw the STG video and decided to take the chance. Why didnt I find these boots elsewhere? Looks like STG is the sole us reseller. Good for them. Out of the box onto a 200 mile spirited ride. No break in required and they are fantastic. Was a little cool and I could feel the airflow through the boots. Will be great come next summer. Highly recommended. First pair of street boots, although I have had many offroad boots. Oh, and I ordered them Monday and had them in hand on Wednesday! Fantastic job by STG!

RST TRACTECH EVO III SPORT CE BOOTS

Posted by Ben on 25th Sep 2023

SERIOUS BANG FOR BUCK. For the money I had to try the RST TRACTECH EVO III SPORT CE BOOTS the crazy yellow design is a bold choice but any help with visibility on the street is needed. Fit: I bought the Euro 47, US 13, UK 12. Fit is roomy without being huge. I can fit a nice thick sock in the boot and not feel cramped. This is not sized like an Italian boot with the very slim toe box. If you have hobbit feet get these! The don’t make noise when you walk, nice! Construction: Not a stiff as some of my full race Italian boots that were hell to walk in and came off my feet as soon as I’m off the track. These have the comfort for 600 mile street rides. You can walk well in them but I wouldn’t go hiking. If you need to get a drink at the Wawa, you are good to go. Good protection, stiff sole, good zipper, easy in and out. One minor gripe, the zipper Velcro tab will stick to the outer flap of the boot but not the inner. This is a gripe only because it seems backwards to me. Pull the zipper up Velcro the tab to the inner part of the boot then pull the otter portion of the boot over to secure. This is a tad more difficult because of the tab not sticking to the inside of the boot. The zipper also is in one of the flex zones on the inside of the boot on the bike side. Riding with the boot: They are normal riding boots. I need to adjust my shift lever slightly up for clearance. Normal for a new boot. They don’t catch on the bike like some other boots I have had. Control and feel through the feet is good. Not ventilated but I don’t live in AZ or FL, it has been hot here and the boots were not making the situation worse. The fit under jeans and over my leathers. Really good street boot, good for the money! I look forward wearing them out. You can not go wrong getting a pair of these. I think I got mine on sale but at the regular price I did not find a better deal. Anything near the level of this boot was twice the price.

Decent for the price, but not great

Posted by Rider on 9th Sep 2023

While they seem to be decent for the price, I wish I had just spent a little more money on a better pair. I've never owned another pair of boots, so I have nothing to compare them to, but I haven't been super happy Overall. I would still recommend this if a higher priced pair is unaffordable, but you might find yourself seeking our better boots quickly like I am. - The bottom of the ankle brace flares out a bit at the bottom, and sometimes gets caught on my heel plate when I move around. I like to pinch the bike with my feet, so this happens fairly often and is annoying / distracting. -After a year of use, the inner sole has now comes loose on both boots. I had to remove them because they were constantly bunching up under my feet, and it was shedding bits of the under foam everywhere. Inspecting the materials after they came out of the boot, they're very low quality. The boots are pretty uncomfortable now, but more importantly my foot is less secured in the boot and moves around inside when shifting and adjusting my feet on the pegs. I'm guessing this will also make them less safe in the event of a crash. -The screws that hold the toe sliders came loose shortly after I got them. They can just be tightened and some loctite added, but I didn't notice until I had already lost one. Fortunately, I was able to find a replacement at the hardware store. - They squeak like crazy, super loudly. While this doesn't really affect the function, it's pretty annoying and embarrassing for street riding. For the track, probably doesn't matter. I tried lubricating the sections of rubber / leather that rub together, but no luck. -The leather around your foot is perforated, but I really don't notice any airflow so they tend to be pretty hot to wear. I would also note that they have pretty good safety ratings overall, but only score a 1 (rather than a 2) for transverse rigidity. Not sure how that compares to other boots. Anecdotally, the ankle bracing is pretty weak and feels like it would be pretty ineffective in protecting your ankle's range of motion.

    Outstanding!

I have wide feet and these boots fit perfectly. I ordered a 45, but it was a little small. STG was fantastic! Hooked me up with a no hassle return for a 46 that fits like a dream. I feel very safe wearing these very comfortable boots!

    watch out for loose bolts

Posted by Chris on 23rd Aug 2023

Toe plate bolts are not loctited so they have a tendecy of falling out, one of mine is currently duct taped. I never thought to check my toe plate bolts until now. Hopefully replacement toe plates will be in stock soon as one of mine is already quite scraped up as they protrude quite a bit further than my old Sidi boots did.

    Locktite the toe sliders

Posted by Tom Barcia on 28th Jul 2023

I received a pair of these boots (that were purchased from STG) as a gift and they appear to be great boots with the exception of the toe sliders coming loose. On one ride I had the front screw come loose on both boots and fortunately it's the one that's captured and cannot be lost. I was able to tighten them and get through the ride but when you get them make sure to LockTite the slider screws. I also have an issue with the right boot being too tight to zipper when my RST suit is tucked in. Since the suit doesn't fit on the outside this is an issue I will have to live with or figure out a solution. Overall they seem to be a great boot and are quite comfortable when worn under jeans / riding pants just not with the suit tucked in.

    Great boots, one year review

Posted by Barry Savoie on 21st Jul 2023

I purchased these boots one year ago for my son. He was just starting out riding/racing at 15 years old. He had No riding or racing experience and was just starting to learn with NJMiniGP. I wanted quality protection from his gear but didn’t want to break the bank if he didn’t like riding. I purchased these RST boots and RST youth sized leathers. Let me just say how impressed I am with RST products. I wear Alpinestars Missle leathers and Sidi boots. These RST’s are every bit as good of quality, so much so that I will also switch to RST when my gear is worn out. Paul has had several crashes in his gear, and it has held up well and offered him excellent protection. He is starting to outgrow this pair of boots and we are replacing them with the same boots in next size up.

Good simple boots. they lack comfy lining, but with decent socks you won't care.
