RST TracTech EVO III Sport
In a word - Awesome. Well built premium boot that would be difficult to match for over twice the price. The vented lower portion of the boot is welcome all summer long. My well used and enjoyed Gaerne sport boots are now relegated to spring and fall cold days only.

Unsafe?
These boots are of really good quality but they have a plastic ankle support thing that has been catching on my heel plate on my rearsets. Hasn't been a problem yet but they dont feel 100% safe. makes me want to find another pair but I didnt figure this out until after I rode around in them so I cant return them so the money is spent.

These boots are great but have 1 major flaw, they squeak and creek like old floorboards with every step. If you plan to wear these a lot while walking be warned. Easy 5 star ratings if they were silent or only made a little noise. Still great boots and better value but they do make noise. As always awesome customer service from STG.

For the price, there really isn’t ANY room to complain. The fit feels like a +$350 dollar boot you would get from one of the other more common brands. You can tell this brand (RST) did their homework with these boots and these aren’t even their highest spec. The only reason it doesn’t get 4 stars with me is because the stitching. The stitching below the joint on the inner side of the right boot started to come undone since there’s very little stretch with these more aggressive riding boots. Probably from walking around in them. Other than that, the fit is true to size so if you wear a 11 shoe, the 11 boot will fit the same.

Solid boots
Comfortable and look even better in person. I'm new to the track life so I didnt want to go crazy and buy the best but not the worst. Very pleased with quality, fit and of course appearance.

RST TracTech Evo III Sport CE Boots
A well made boot that would probably fit someone without a high instep perfectly. The size was true on my 46/11 and the width accommodated my wide foot. RST attempted to allow for instep heights with a stretch instep visible in the photo, but for me, the stretch was quite robust and I ended up with cramps and pressure points on a 5 hr ride. The boot's ventilation holes did a good job of allowing air to pass and kept my feet cool. They have a zipper running top to instep on the 'inside' which worked well and a good Velcro closure at the top. The sole is lightly textured and smooth and should wear well.
