RST Pro Series Ventilator D3O CE Mesh Jacket

Chose RST because of STG’s videos on gear. Biggest need was protection ratings and dealing with brutal Alabama heat. I’ve worn several Joe Rocket mesh jackets ands pants over the years not realizing they weren’t rated for anything other than tripping in your driveway. Thought their venting was just the hell i had to pay. Liner for this RST is going to be incredible later this year. I’m not sure how RST did it but riding this morning, the airflow and comfort was incredible. Collar and cuffs are perfectly comfortable. But this airflow and breathability sitting still!! Wow. Impressive purchase and STG was amazing once thru email with Max and once on phone.

Ordered jacket on 5/26/26 and received it 3 days later. Love this jacket so far. Quality is really good, especially at this price point. I haven't worn it with the liner yet (It's 95-100% in Louisiana) but looking forward to trying it out. I already had a D30 L2 back protector that I got for another jacket I have so that wasn't an issue. But I will probably order a chest protector soon also. The only thing I don't like is the Velcro cuff closure. I personally prefer a zip. But that's a minor issue considering this is such a nice jacket otherwise. And as always, SBTG has the best customer service out there and are there for you with a quick response if you have a question or issue.

If you’re looking for a premium mesh jacket for warm-weather riding, I highly recommend the RST Pro Series Ventilator D3O CE Mesh Jacket. For reference, my measurements are: • Height: 5’9” (175 cm) • Weight: 170 lb (77 kg) • Chest: 42 inches • Waist: 33 inches If your build is similar to mine, I highly recommend going with size 54 (Large). The size 52 was extremely restrictive—I could barely get my arms into the sleeves and felt completely suffocated. The 54 fits exactly how a motorcycle jacket should.

I’ve only had a chance to ride in this jacket three times so far after receiving it recently. Quality seems very good and at a very reasonable price point. I like that it now comes with D30 level 2 armor in shoulders and elbows so just add D30 back armor (which I already had) and your good to got. I am 5’7” 160lbs and I got medium and fits me great with room for an airbag system with back armor removed. This jacket breathes very well in 90+ degree Louisiana summers. I do wish the cuffs had zip closures rather than Velcro , but that’s a minor thing. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone who rides in hot weather (and who don’t).

The jacket seems very well made, which I expected from owning the pants for a year or so previously. The thermal liner should allow its use to stretch into shoulder seasons a bit, but ventilation will be the star of the show for summer riding. The size chart is spot on for me with RST gear, and at 5’10”, 155lbs, the small fit perfectly. Appreciate the guys at STG!
