RST Pro Series GP D3O CE Gloves

These gloves fit exactly as they should. Snug but not tight. The 2 tone colors are very cool. As usual STG was super fast with the shipment.

Sizing and fit: my benchmark for a “perfect fitting glove” is RS Taichi; I have had two pairs of their previous model GP-WRX in a size medium. Unfortunately, the cuff on the Taichi’s is too small and cannot fit over the sleeve of my new suit without bunching and binding (Dianese has bulky sleeve cuffs for some reason). I had a pair of the old RST Evo4’s and while I did like those gloves, I bought them in a medium and they were a little too big. This time I bought a size small and the fit on the palm and the fingers are just right. My yellow/black pair fits great; however, my black/white pair’s thumbs are slightly longer and baggier. The patterning/sizing tolerances of the RST gloves has been hit or miss for me. My old Evo4’s had wildly different thumb sizes/shapes left (perfect) to right (giant). But with the GP's, I’d consider the thumb a minor thing and rate it as good enough. I really don’t notice it when riding, unlike my old Evo4's which always bothered me when manipulating the controls. The construction and features however are top notch. The kangaroo leather on the palm is soft and thin, great tactile feel on the bars and levers. The ventilation is reasonably good for a race style glove. The Velcro is way better than the old Evo4's. I have never worn out the Velcro on a glove until I had the old Evo4's, and that made them unusable in about a year. The Velcro on the GP's is less “fluffy” and looks like it will hold up longer. It’s not the unbeatable value that the old Evo4’s offered, but it packs a ton of features and has robust construction at a reasonable price. For me, the kangaroo palm is reason alone to buy them. They are well built and so far, have been all day comfortable. They should only get better as they break in. Despite the inconsistent thumb, I liked them enough to buy two of them. 4/5 stars (-1 star for the thumb sizing)

Tl;dr- Sizing is spot on, I’d say the same as the trac tech evo 4. Extremely comfortable with basically no break-in. Noticeable extra protection on the fingers and reinforcing everywhere. New colors are awesome. This is my favorite/daily glove now. When I saw these on the website, I immediately signed up for an alert. I’ve had these, the trac tech evo 4 in gauntlet and short cuff, and have the A* gp plus v3. For sizing, the Rst medium is slightly shorter in the fingers compared to the medium in A*, but they fit me nearly perfect. I feel a large would be slightly too long. Minimal break-in thanks to the full kangaroo leather. They feel very similar to the evo 4 but have slight changes to the overall protection, and the new colors are awesome. Ventilation is good, I don’t feel much unless I open my hand for the perforations in the fingers to really get some airflow but I’ve worn these in warmer weather (~85F). For the price, absolutely worth it I say. Comfy, protective, stylish, and from a quality brand I’ve come to love thanks to STG. If you’re on the fence, definitely don’t hesitate to give these a try.

Patiently waited for these to become available. Fitment is great, they feel really good even new. Then kangaroo hide is soft and these won’t need much break in. Colorway is also fantastic. Since I couldn’t give these a half star, I took it down to a 4 instead of 4.5/5. The stitching could be a little cleaner and there’s a few loose threads. Hopefully the seams don’t come apart but I will see how these hold up long term. Overall very happy so far.

Ordered i size larger, glad I did. You can easily do track or race days with these gloves. Break in time 1 hr ride did it. I normally wear large, got extra large and fit great. Kangaroo leather. Breaks in quick.
