On 8.16.2026 Max Van and I were at AMP doing a track weekend with Precision Track Days and were watching the MotoAmerica races in the trailer between sessions he was riding in. The Twins Cup Race was red flagged and Michael Hill was interviewing racers on the hot pit during the delay to fill the open slot created by the red flag. When he got to Rodney Vest I told Max something special was going to happen and Rodney did not disappoint.
