Build quality is good. Comes with gasket. The 09-14 R1 has a weak CCT on startup. The PSR manual CCT is cheap insurance knowing the chain will not skip, resulting in the valves meeting your piston. Installation is a bit tricky as you must find dead center on the engine. Have a dealership do the install if you are not comfortable.

I have had 2 auto tensioners from Yamaha and both went bad. Switched to this and now with a little adjusting the problem is now fixed. Only thing is simple READ THE DIRECTIONS!! Also YouTube will help as well.
