The Pit Bull Bonneville Rear Stand was developed to address the needs of bikes with low pipes that prevent our traditional standard rear stand from accessing the swingarm. This stand addresses the needs of bikes like the Triumph Bonneville, Triumph Thruxton, Harley Sportster, Norton Commando***, and Honda CTX700N, and other models with similar needs from a rear stand. Contact us with any questions you may have.

Norton Commando owners who do NOT want to install spools on their rear shock bolts to use our Norton Commando Rear Stand could use this stand as an alternative.

NEW FOR 2021: Pit Bull now offers one length option for the removable handle, with an improved design. The removable handle is available exclusively in a 16" length for added ease in operating the stand. (Prior versions were 12" long for the standard removable handle, and 15" for the extended length removable handle) The new removable handle features a spring-assisted push-button lever for easy one-handed securing and removal of the handle - a notable step up from the previous design's pull-pin. In the photo below, the new removable handle is on the right.

    Pit Bull rear stand

Posted by John on 30th Sep 2019

Cons: Pit Bull was VERY slow getting this stand to their vendor, in my case Sportbike Track Gear. Pros: The quality and design of this made in USA stand is FIRST CLASS. I bought the stand with the extended, removable handle and I'm glad I did. I like the extra leverage the longer handle provides and being able to remove the handle eliminates the chance of stumbling over the handle while walking behind the bike while it's up on the stand. I purchased a Harbor Freight rear stand prior to this, returned that stand and the difference in quality is like night and day. The Pit Bull is much more expensive but totally worth the extra money. 2 things I do while using the stand is first using a bungee cord around the front brake lever to lock the front brake and prevent the bike from rolling forward. The 2nd is is use someone to steady the bike by the handlebars while putting it up on the stand, do not want to take a chance on dropping the bike. Once up on the stand your bike will be very steady and solid. You will not be disappointed in the quality!!!!!!
