Kinda pricey but i think it was a good bang for the buck. It was a little louder than i thought it would be. It is hard to know exactly how its going to sound online when you can't hear for yourself. Anyways i think it sounds way better. Two thumbs up here....Thanks

I got this for my new 2018 Ninja 400 KRT. The look and sound is so much better than the stock exhaust. Install was super easy, I followed Brian's video and it was super simple. Customer service is second to none with STG! When it comes to bikes and cars I have always said you get what you pay for. I don't buy cheap parts, M4 is not cheap but it is amazing quality! I couldn't be happier with this slip-on, it is one of the best sounding and best looking on the market right not for the 400.

Brian's install video for the M4 slip on was the perfect compliment to what is a monster of an exhaust can. First I couldn't believe how heavy the stock KAW400 can was until I got it off, its like a lead brick. The M4 slip on is just a fraction of the weight and about half the length. Install was fairly simple although I think I overdid the anti seize as I really had to get at the clamp on the mid-pipe to keep it from twisting. Once that was secure the rest was a breeze, and removal of the stock was a breeze thanks to the video. Directions that came with the can were rather useless, as far as both removal and install. Once all secured and wiped down with WD40, on to the test. First with the DB silencer in and once with it removed. Fired it up and I thought the neighbors would come out thinking I traded for a Harley or something, this can is amazing and loud. Complete difference over stock muffler. Chose this one due to the low rumble sound it produces, and wow does it ever put out. Now with the silencer in, still just as noticeable just a bit toned down at the upper end and at idle, still a vast difference than stock, sounds like a completely different bike. One could easily go either way and probably be just as happy. haven't rode with it yet but may see how it takes, easy enough to put the silencer back in or leave it out, just one screw and washer. Just be careful not to loose them in the can installing or taking it out. Well worth the money for this exhaust, just the right low rumble bass tone I was looking for. Home run on this exhaust. Looks great and makes the Ninja 400 sound so much better. Very easy install
