Like many people, I thought I would save a few bucks and go with Hotbodies. Reading reviews I had low expectations, but they are race fairings. I can deal with a few chips and some fitment.
Well that isn't case with these. Even with trimming the windscreen is still 1/4" away from mounting all the way around, I attempted to force it a cracked the a brand new zero gravity windscreen so Im out another 90 bucks. Other than stacking 1/4" of washer between the well nut and windscreen I am not sure how to mount it now. The tail is completely cocked to one side making mounting a pain to look right on the bike. The tail cover panel is only 7.5 inches long, unless you measure the other side and its 8". I haven't even attempt to get the belly pan or front fender on.
Spend the extra money on a quality brand. These were put together but a blindfolded chimpanzee without a mold apparently. Now I am out more money and stuck without fairings until I sell my other kidney.
