Graves Motorsports Fender Eliminators for the all new Yamaha YZF-R1 are designed to eliminate the stock rear fender to give the bike a more race inspired and cleaner look. STG is doing a 2015 R1 as a project bike, keep an eye on the site for install videos as the season gets started.
The Graves tag kits are designed to have multiple options. Use with stock Yamaha rear turn signals, with Graves aftermarket signals (by moving the mounting position of the signal holders), or without signals at all by removing the turn signal mounts completely. To securely mount the fender kit to the R1's unique tail section the this kit features a machined diamond shape plastic composites "puck." An exclusive Graves Motorsports feature.
All Graves Motorsports Yamaha fender eliminator kits are fabricated from black anodized aluminum for long term reliability and great looks. There is no cutting required to your stock fender and all hardware is included for easy installation. Just what your Yamaha R1needs to clean up the tail section.

Easy install & clean finish
Spent 30 min last night putting this on my R1M. Super easy and great finish, only difficult part which required a bit of patience was removing/installing the stock turn signals(as mentioned by others). The video put up was also great and outlined the install step by step. Overall another quality product put out by Graves!

R1 Graves Fender Eliminator
Very easy install, takes about 30 mins. Very clean, compact good look. Able to reinstall factory turn signals but require a bit of finesse to remove/insert from both holders. My only complaint would be the weight/material thickness of the bracket for the license plate seems a little excessive

Awesome
Excellent fit, good looks, and only took 20 minutes to install. Really cleans up the rear of the bike.

Clean look for the 2015 R1
While this seems like a simple part in the grand scheme of motorcycle accessories, you can tell that Graves went that extra step to make sure the fit, quality, and ease of installation were spot on. Just be patient with your stock blinkers if you choose to retain them, as the retaining clips and rubber collars can be a bit difficult...I had to tease it along with a flat headed screwdriver. Once installed, it really cleans up the lines of the bike...plus, there are no funny gaps or wobbling. Definitely check out the STG R1 project bike videos for spot on guidance!
