Disclaimer: I would like to give this product 5 stars but the bench tuner is only 1/2 of the kit the other half is the FTECU web portal that you will HAVE to use to flash your ECU and the flash files that are available there... or not available there I should say. Due to some of the misinformation in the associated YouTube Video, and some policy changes that are currently in place today that weren't in place when the video was made I have to give the kit overall 3 stars. Now with that said... 1) Know that the Bench Tuner Kit is Legit! It's easy to use and works the way that is described in the STG YouTube Video. 2) The FTECU web portal that is used to facilitate the flash process is also well put together and "most" of what you heard about in the STG video is accurate as far as available flash tunes and how to navigate the web space goes. 3) What you may not be aware of is that the tunes that are located in the FTECU web portal are proprietary to the vendor's that elect to share this data with FTECU. With that, they can also elect to stop sharing or change up the sharing agreement with FTECU at their discretion any time. So do yourself a favor, and create a free account with FTECU and go into the portal to see what flashes are available and from which vendors. Make sure what is in the web portal is going to work with your particular setup as far as the nomenclature of your ECU goes; because if not you may do better just going and paying $400 for a dyno day and having your ECU flashed locally. JMHO.
