I installed the Spiegler Front & Rear Brake Line Kit (alt. front routing) onto my 2007 Yamaha FZ1, and you must bleed ALL the brake fluid out of the brake line and caliper (open the bleeder valve, and push the brake caliper piston back inside the brake caliper).
At first, I thought to myself, "this tiny bottle is enough to fill the brake lines, reservoir, AND bleed the brake line..." Sure enough, this was more than enough brake fluid and it came free with the purchase of the Spiegler Front & Rear Brake Line Kit (Alt. Front Routing), along with brake cleaner. Make sure you buy NEW DOT 4 brake fluid. Do not use opened brake fluid that's still on your shelves, because brake fluid is "hygroscopic." Brake fluid is cheap (this is $4.75), just buy it.
Definition of hygroscopic
1: readily taking up and retaining moisture
2: taken up and retained under some conditions of humidity and temperature
6. works great, wish the bottle was just a hair bigger
