Clean boot, no goretex (good)
I'm a mens 10 in Nike and I'm a 10 in these, so they run smaller than most boots. (I'm usually a 9.5 dress shoe or 9 in some boots) The Euro sizing per alpinestars site is accurate 43=10. Similar to TCX sizing. The width is medium. The ankle area is very roomy. We will see how long the strings for the fastening system last. Malleolus protection is a very thin plastic with foam, less than I would like. The sole is very stiff which is good. Welted construction and leather are excellent. I
