1. Booster V2
Alpinestars may finally understand what proper sizing is. These gloves feel solid and well put together for the price. The fingers do run a bit long but only by a quarter inch or so. This is the first Alpinestars product I’ve had where the labeled size is the actual size. My last pair of gloves were SP-5 in an XL due to their extra-slim cut. These fit true to size in a large for my measured 9 inch hand circumference. The touchscreen capability of the fingertips is a bit hit or miss but that can be attributed to the extra length. I could have ordered another pair of the SP-5 as they proved their worth in a lowside protecting not only me, but my Apple Watch with its ulna joint protection, but I wanted some variety. I would not consider these as summer gloves as there isn’t much airflow. These could pass as three season gloves with cooler summer days (>90), maybe four with liners for moderate winter riding. Overall I’m happy with them.
