3M Primer 94 Ampules can be used to promote adhesion of 3M tapes to surfaces such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT blends, concrete, wood, glass, metal, and painted metal surfaces.
We highly recommend using the primer sticks to treat vehicle surfaces to promote the strongest possible bond between it and Stompgrip, especially along the edges.
This is important when applying the Traction Pads to challenging surfaces like plastic side panels and/or areas that see heavy abuse from riding boots.

Works?
Used this to install my stomp grip, and they haven't fallen off. But would they if I hadn't? Hard to know how necessary this is.
