RST S-1 CE Textile Jacket

I bought this jacket and a pair of S1 leather/mesh pants from Max while I was driving. I called, basically to ask about the fit of the pants (I need a long in Dainese) and Max thought they would fit. The pants did. They're really nice for the money. I figured I'd grab a jacket so I would have something that the pants would zip into since they won't with any of my Dianese jackets. I didn't want to pop for the leather jacket, so I figured I'd go tex . When I got home, I watched the video review of this jacket and immediately realized I had made a mistake. This is absolutely not a warm weather jacket. I usually run pretty cold, but this is way too much for even me. The jacket has two miniscule vents near the collarbones, and a small one at the base of the neck. That's it. Combine that with the waterproof membrane, and you have a jacket that has essentially zero ventilation. Did I mention that it has a zip-in quilted vest liner? I'm not bashing the jacket. This is on me for not doing my homework like I usually do, but this isn't what I was expecting. It would be a great spring/fall jacket though, but I already have that covered. The fit without the liner is pretty boxey and loose. I'm 5' 10, 140 without gear and this is too big for me. Hopefully, this helps someone make an informed decision.

I could not be more happy with this jacket I am 6' 160 lbs. the euro 50 witch is a small fits me like a tailored suit jacket also looks bad ass it still has enough room for me to run my fox low profile chest and back protector removable liner is a plus. compared to jackets $100 dollars more this wins hands down. #GO MAX

First RST buyer. Great quality for an amazing price. Arms run slightly long for me (size small) . Also fitted with a back protector its nice and snug. Other than that it fits great. Definitely for Chilly/ Spring riding.
