The Pirelli Angel GT Tires are Certified by the authoritative independent body, Motorrad TestCenter, as the tire with the highest mileage in its segment, the most recent addition to the Pirelli family, the Angel GT Sport Touring Tire, boasts a sports pedigree typical of Pirelli products and high performance on dry roads as well as wet for the entire life cycle of the tire.
Compared to its predecessor, the Angel GT increases mileage by 30%, reduces the braking distance by about 1 meter (at a speed of 47 mph), also improving grip and handling in the wet, and, even more importantly, manages to maintain these characteristics at a high level over time.
And so, with the name it chose for this product Pirelli decided to maintain a clear connection to the winning tire, highlighting the evolution toward a product dedicated to long distances which maintains the typical sport spirit of Pirelli with the abbreviation GT. This is why Angel GT is 100% Italian Gran Turismo, an ideal tire for those riders who travel long distances with a passenger and the bike fully loaded, or who simply take a ride in the country, but also for those who use their bikes all year round, both for recreation and commuting.

WOW! First time riding in a downpour (soaked from head to toe) and rode with CONFIDENCE!
I bought these tires for my '14 FZ-09 because of the hard compound center and softer compound on the outer tire along with great ratings in the rain. I did tons and tons of research on tires and these were the ones that I caught myself going back to. This is my first sportbike and second road bike and I have NEVER ridden in the rain. First time I rode in rain, it was downpouring and I was on the highway where the speed limit was 70mph. I did 60mph with CONFIDENCE! I'll be purchasing these tire again and for my wife's '16 R3. Love these!!!

Best Street Tire I have ever used
I am running the Angle GT on my KTM RC8R and Triumph Daytona 675. In both cases the tires replaced "Sport Tires" so I was expecting longer life with worse handling characteristics. What I got was better handling... the tires warm up quick, and grip well. The turn in is light, quick and accurate, and hold the corner perfectly. I used to be a track day rider, but switched to street only after my last crash. I would consider myself aggressive for the street... but not stupid. I ride at 75% of my ability, 1 to 2 mm chicken strips on the Daytona, none on the RC8.
