The racing inspired FKR cartridge kit has technology derived straight from the Moto3, Moto 2 and World Superbike championships developed by Ohlins's engineers in Sweden. Designed for high-end top level racing in SuperStock and SuperSport classes, the new FKR cartridge kit will give you loads of performance. It comes as ready applications for the hyper-sport bikes.
The FKR Cartridge kit features a spring pressurized system, compared to the old gas pressurized system, the spring pressure offers a more simplistic and user friendly design that also accounts for easier maintenance. But there are more advantages of a spring pressurized system. There is no risk of gas leakage, it also gives a more consistent performance curve and allows for a more compact design. With the Ohlins TTX technology, a new designed piston and an 8mm piston shaft we reduce the pressure build-up and create a faster damping response. That gives a 'linear' style of damping characteristics which create more tuning options and also increases grip and bump absorption properties while improving chassis stability.

Ohlins fkr for the win
Coming from stock suspension is completely transformed the bike. I have the TTX rear shock to go with it. I’ve never felt such a confidence inspiring race suspension. Lowered my lap times significantly within the first session of the day. I have the settings at the recommended start point by Ohlins included in the box. I am 210 pounds geared up and I have the 10.5 springs installed. This kit comes with three sets of springs so you can play around with mixed spring rates. One of my fork seals was leaking right from the start so I had my Ohlins guy replace it. He didn’t charge me, but this is all beside the point. It may have been something he did during the installation process. No big deal. I have the oil level set a little bit lower than suggested because these feel stiff. These forks are the true race forks so I have to get used to them a little bit, but I can’t say enough about how great this kit is. Very expensive, but totally worth it.
