Driven HALO Fuel Cap

I have a Vortex cap on my other bike and have a hard time removing it with or without gloves. This is a very simple and easy cap system. Now that I have installed it on the smaller bike to test it out I will be changing over the rest.

I wish I could say this product was incredible. I mean, it was ok. But was it $150 worth of ok? I had to knock off quite a bit of metal shavings from the fuel cap that were residual from the manufacturing process. The spring and tang fit was very tight, almost to the point of where I wouldn't be able to get it off or on. The base had some marks/scrapes on it that I didn't notice until I had it mounted, so of course I won't be able to return it. I also don't like that Driven felt like extra writing on the base. For example, "MADE IN USA" is prominently put on it. That's great and all, but it takes away from just having a sleek look and feel of the whole assembly.

Took forever to arrive. 10 days. Other than that the product is great.

I went with blue, it looks great and fits just as well. Worked excellent on my 1500mi road trip that I just took.

The fact I do not have to remove my key from my ignition is awesome and the ease of use can't get any easier.

Expensive but super clean looking. Very easy to install.

The cap itself is great, looks clean with it’s base. But my review will be mostly on the base, im pleased with the aesthetic of the product on my blacked out 2020 R6, but installation was a bit ridiculous. They really should provide a gasket with the cap base instead of having to cut your stock gasket and risk screwing it up. I even had to cut more than was shown in the STG install video because of another protrusion on the base that wasnt accomodated by the gasket whatsoever. Pretty disappointed there but now that its on the bike im pleased with the result. 6/10 purely for the shit install

This product is awesome on the 2017 cbr1000rr there’s 2 lines for the vent and those ain’t needed no more .. finish is quality too

Driven puts out a great product. Removes the ugly OEM cap and adds some style to your bike. The gas cap Kawasaki is using for the '21 10R is the now the same they use for the 400 and 6R. That being said, the Driven gas cap base for the Gen 6 is different than the one used on the Gen 5.
