1. Excellent quality--very overpriced
Pro: Compared to similar looking Chinese mirrors that were on my bike, these are much higher quality.
Cons: Very overpriced. China--$25 for two mirrors and bar end hardware. CRG--$100 each mirror plus another $20 for the bar end hardware. Say what you want about Chinese quality, both are milled on the machinery from the same materials. Cost make these not 8x higher. Right price: no more that $125 including the bar end hardware.
Limited options for placing mirrors. The cheap Chinese versions I could angle at any position I liked. My preference about 45 degrees up from horizontal. CRG mirrors feature a trick ball bearing indexed positioning mechanism that unfortunately allows only a few positions, none of which I particularly like--either to low or high. Trying to figure out why I couldn't position the mirrors where I wanted, I pulled the rotating mechanism apart. Huge mistake. Took almost an hour to get the thing back together because everything (ball bearings--which shifted when I pulled apart, front and back piece) has to fall in a very specific place or it won't screw back together. Whatever you do don't take the things apart!
Overall: Excellent quality, weak adjustability, over priced. Would I buy again. Probably not.
