These jeans are a full size too small. I ordered a 32 inch waist because that is always my size in jeans. They were small fitting so I returned them at my expense. I had mentioned to customer care that a 32 inch pair of levis fits me perfectly but got the reply these aren't levis. Thanks but I can read. I still liked the jeans for the price and ordered a second pair one size bigger and they fit fine. My second time wearing them the button snapped where it connects to the back pin when I was putting it through the button hole. For a pair of protective pants this doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the overall quality.

4 stars only because each waist size is only available in a single length, and I would have liked a shorter inseam.

These jeans are a soft denim, with mesh lining below the Kevlar. I'm using them with Scorpion's SAS-TEC armor. The hip armor is not noticeable. The knee armor pieces are noticed when standing and walking, only because they ride a little lower on the patella than I prefer. The pockets are adjustable via multiple velcro tabs, but not high enough for perfection.

I'm a 33" waist and had to reorder a size 36 which was about 1" to big. First ordered 34's and were way to tight in the hips. Otherwise, I like the jeans and they have better Kevlar coverage than Draggin jeans. The pockets for hip armor work really well but knee armor moves around to much. The jeans aren't to heavy so should be fine for hot weather.

I'm a 5'10 170lbs ordered a 34" and this fits perfectly. Just wondering if you have the hip armor, it might fit a little bit tight. But overall, nice color, good fit, and awesome protection.
