Got this on the sale price as well as the same protector with the adjustable straps which is so comfortable I will probably end up using it most of the time. Can't go wrong with either of these quality additions to a good armored jacket.

Awesome. I have the 8mm. I have had both Dainese and Alpinestars chest protector inserts. The RS Taichi is easily as substantial, but it just molds to you under your suit and its virtually unnoticeable. I love the piece that covers the diaphragm. No brainer best protector that I have used.

Very comfy (I got the large 8mm size) and it fits perfectly in my suit and does not move around at all. It feels very sturdy and gives me a good bit of confidence. Very nice product.

Will try next season, but first impressions are good. The armor comes out so you can wash the case. The side wings flex so can contour to your body. The rubber paddings on the front and back will grip your shirt/suit so it doesn't move around. I got the 8mm and I like it, I expect it will perform as advertised.

I haven't had to rely on this chest protector yet, thankfully, as I've only just got it. However it seems well made and solid (I have the 8mm version). A racer friend of mine swears by his which is why I bought it. No straps, so easy to put in and pull out of your leathers, and it doesn't move at all in use.

finally got to use the chest protector, and found it to be the perfect size for a rider approx 5'6" (140lbs) .... with a properly fitting suit, the protector stays in place and flexes with the rider's movements...really good product!
