1. Decent tire
To start off, I got the rear because my front Z6 is still in good shape. I get about 12k miles per rear, and my last front lasted about 20k on my Street Triple R, mostly used for commuting (70% freeway).
I don't have any real complaints about the front tire. The rear does pretty well when leaned, but when riding straight the traction on damp roads could be better.
If I was doing more mountain or canyon runs I would look for different tires. For my usage these days, I just look for a lot of miles for relatively little money with decent traction and these work.
