Had these on my track bike, went for a gentle lowside at slow speed, didn't even get to the grass. One spool shattered on impact. Another spool, the aluminum that sits inside the axle, was dented on impact and the slider fell out and rolled away (found it at the edge of the track). A third slider cracked almost through on light impact. The sliders that survived are sitting on my work bench at home for anyone that comes over to see.
I was extremely unpleased with the performance of these spools. I've moved to woodcraft axle spools since then and after two decent slides the woodcraft have held up better than my expectations. The puck is the same as frame sliders and the metal that goes inside the axle is solid.
Lightech axle sliders might look pretty but the colored metal in the middle is thin aluminum, won't stand up well for a slide or impact. And that colored metal means that the sliding plastic on the outside is a lot thinner than it should be, it does not have the strength to do it's job.
This was my experience with this product, It was tested for it's purpose (unfortunately) and didn't pass,
