First and foremost let me say I never thought I would buy a HJC..EVER. I worked at a MC dealership for years before going into the military and always found them to be sub par. I have been riding for 16 years and have had a lot of different helmets. That being said the RHPA pro 11 is not the old HJC. I have owned plenty of different helmets, my last one being a AGV K2 SP Military edition. I was worried when i bought this that i would be sending it right back. I looked on youtube found one goon who had the star wars edition talking about the wing broke on the back, its secure, if you drop it from above 3ft yes it could break, if your really worried about it keep the Styrofoam it ships with to support the wing and transport it to the track or store it with it. The finish is just as good as my AGV and the fitment of the HJC is better! Take STG's advice go with your size, dont order one size up like some of these bafoons are suggesting. For proper fitment you want it snug. The padding i feel is better than my AGV and Shoei helmets. Air flow is good, the helmet is incredibly light.. The field of vision is great and overall i don't regret making this purchase at all. I'm looking forward to putting in alot of track time under this lid. I don't ever do review's but i found many conflicting write ups about the helmet size out there and one bad review about the wing. So rider to rider, buy your size and if your breaking the wing you either had a bad crash or you dropped it from above 3ft which technically you should be getting a new lid.. However HJC will replace the wing next day according to the guy on you tube.. Worth the money.. all day long. HJC is stepping up their Game!
