Tried and tested various gloves at 3 times the price. These are the best. 45 mile pre-dawn AM commuter, worst case 30 degree (F) at end of run. Naked bike with no hand protection on bars. Hands were chilly but not frozen or burning.
The inner liner is attached to outer shell which is HUGE. Most gloves are not. your hands sweat and liner comes out with your hand. Put them on don't plan on taking off. Scarabs are EZ on and off.
Scarabs have actual protection comparable to my track gloves. Winter gloves have minimal protection in them. I am more worried in cold weather yet most winter gloves lack protection.
Grip feel is tops, closest to regular gloves. Most gloves are bulky and take away sensitivity to hand controls.
Last but not least, these things are built like a tank, look bitchin, and best of all come in under a C-note...can't beat em.
