Great pants for the price. Great for a first time buyer.
2. Good protection for the street
Posted by Squatchy on 1st May 2019
Just got these pants and after taking my first ride in them i have to say they are great for the price point. Are there better pants out there of course but not for this price. The fit is good Cortech tends to run a little on the large size so take that into consideration when you order. For your money you are getting a decent pair of leather pants with plenty of perforation and stretch panels to keep you cool.the knee armor is good and stays in place. I would recommend these pants for anyone wanting some decent protection for street riding and maybe for someone looking at their first trackday if you match them up with the Adrenalin 2.0 jacket. Overall a good product that provides protection for riders that dont have an alpinestars or dainese budget.
3. Dual Purposes Pants that Do Neither
Posted by Pavel Tretyak on 6th Jun 2018
Let me start with the positive: these are an excellent pair of leather pants. They are built extremely well and they fit relatively well (good fitment around the calves; good room for larger thighs; knee area is a bit too free).
However, I returned them before a ride. Why? There are 2 issues with these pants: (1) connection with the Cortech Latigo 2.0 jacket and (2) comfort.
(1) The zipper on the pants is connected to the leather. However, the Cortech Latigo 2.0 has its zipper connected to a vinyl piece. In the event of an accident, I feel that connection (between the jacket and pants) will not be entirely sufficient. Overall, it didn't feel securely connected to the jacket.
(2) I bought these pants so I could ride in leather protection for the street and track. However, the ride rather high and are incredibly racy for the street. The leather goes almost to my belly button and the pants feel awkward off the bike even if I just wanted to grab a coffee. However, based on what I wrote in (1), they're not racy enough for the track (imo).
Conclusion: Either go for more street orientated gear or get a 1 piece suit. These pants fit that "do all" category but do nothing well enough. They're not comfortable enough to use in street riding. However, there are a few serious design flaws that prevent it from being as strong as a race suit.
4. Good quality, bad size

These pants are well made and the leather is of good quality and I have no doubt they would offer decent protection should it ever be needed, if they fit correctly. I had to return them due to the sizing though. They would fit perfectly if I had a normal waist, fat behind, fat thighs, and skinny calves. As it was, there was too much loose space in the backside and thighs, so if I was ever to come off my bike wearing these, they would offer little to no padding in the right locations because the pants would twist too much on impact. I'm out $10 for a return shipping label because I wanted to be safe on my motorcycle.
5. good for the price

For the price, I cannot fault this pants. Sturdy built and good quality leather are there, so no complaints in that department. Air flow is good, but there could be more perforation, no washable inside liner but then again, that'd be a pricier pair of pants.
All in all, happy with my choice, lots of bang for the buck, recommended!
I ordered small size (I wear 30 waist, 32 inseam pants normally), fits perfectly
6. Awesome Pants

I bought these pants for my son as a gift and he loves them. The fit is great and the construction is awesome. He has the jacket that attaches to the pants and together it makes a safe and comfortable riding suit. Well worth the money.
