The jacket is comfortable and looks good. I wanted a windbreaker with a bit of armor in it for when I'm making short runs around town and the weather is cooler and I think there's a chance of rain. No problems for short trips down to 50 degrees. For colder trips or longer trips, I've layered with a thermal shirt or even a down puffy jacket. The armor is minimal so keep that in mind if you plan on using it extensively.
Knocking a point off for the tiny breast pocket (won't fit a smart phone) and the hood acts like a parachute if you go over 50 MPH. At freeway speeds, it practically chokes you. I've tried using the strap on the back of the hood to hold it down but it doesn't work. Only solution is to fold the hood inside the jacket and zip it all the way up. Like I said, only a problem above 50 MPH (which you shouldn't be going very fast with this jacket because of the light armor). Although the breast pocket is small, there are two large interior pockets down at the bottom of the jacket (opposite of the exterior hand pockets). These are plenty big for a cell phone but perhaps a little too big.
Size up for a more comfortable fit. It's European cut. Usually L fits me well but I did XL for this and was glad I did or else the arms would have been too snug.
