It works very well. I got a new dark smoke visor and got this insert for it because I did not want to switch the one that comes with the helmet back and forth. 1 star comes off because legally your not supposed to wear this on your visor at night. It says on the package it transfers only 80% of light. I fully intend to use this on my clear shield at night, because you know what blocks way more than 80% of light? Fog! I really do not see this being a likely issue, but technically if something happens at night this could be a technical legal issue.
