I recently purchased a second pair of these to have on hand incase of a rain race or to have a dry set ready to go. The fit is very good and there is little to no break-in required out of the box. Would recommend to anyone looking for a top-of-the-line race glove.

I race and the GP-EVO are the best racing gloves I have ever used. It is hard to get all the protection and still keep the glove flexible and form fitting. Taichi achieves this with the GP-EVO.

These glove are Awesome! If your looking for glove with phenomenal protection. Here they are! Well made,super comfortable. Be sure and use their fitment chart. I normally wear a XL. I had to go up one size. The fit is spot on. Highly recommend!

They feel good the first time you put them on, and after one session on the track, they feel perfect. I crash tested the pair I bought last year. The sliders did their jobs, the leather did it's job. The seam between the split knuckle armor tore from the stretch fabric about 1/2 inch. My hand sustained a small bruise directly under, but nothing broken. Without gloves of this level of quality, I'm sure I would have some broken serious hand injury. The gloves sustained just enough damage for me to warrant concern over another big slide, so I'm coming back for another pair.

Gloves are very comfortable, but have a major Achilles heel in that the stitching doesn't hold up. I've purchased two pairs. With the first the stitching on the palm slider came undone causing it to fall off with about ten laps use, no crash. The second pair lasted about 8 track days and now two fingers have split open. If you buys these make sure you have a pack up pair of gloves.

7. Weird fit on my pinkie knuckle

These fit great when you first put them on, but riding on the track there's a huge pressure point on my pinkie knuckle. Feels bruised at the end of the day. There's just not a enough volume in the part of the glove or where the top panel is stitched in needs to be pushed out a couple of mm so it doesn't taper down across the knuckle. FWIW I do have fairly wide knuckles which is why I tried these vs something with the typical hard knuckle protector. Those are usually too narrow as well. If I sized up then the fingers would be too long.

RS Taichi continues to impress with this glove. It does run smaller than most other gloves. I normally wear an XL, but because of large palms, a 2X is a snug fits and a 3X is what I use when I want more room for a glove liner on a cool day. The quality of this glove is remarkable.

Picked these up after watching a few videos from Brian Van, especially the full gauntlet shootout video. I trust Japanese-brand vehicles and products due to the legendary reputation of their work ethic and companies like Toyota/Honda. The gauntlet required no break-in period at all, and felt like premium, perforated leather I could ride comfortably in any weather. Bought a Large which normally fits flawlessly.

The middle finger is ever so slightly too tight at full extension and the pinky is slightly too long. I'm keeping them, I don't care about the pinky and the middle finger will break in with use. The rest of the fit is perfect. This feels like superior protection with full dexterity that will last a long time and looks great. Expensive, but worth every penny. My first order from STG, shipped quick, no damage and arrived in time for my motorcycle safety class. Love the videos and the product, keep up the great work and thanks for having this stuff in stock, RS Taichi isn't easy to find. STG will be my first stop for gear from now on.
